Introduction

Hi! After over 20 years of working in public and special libraries and in a regional library system, I am starting a new chapter in my career and will be starting as a District Media Specialist in a rural school district in northern Illinois. Follow my experiences and challenges as I make this transition!

    Oh your new job sounds SO EXCITING! Just having the words 'media specialist' in your job title I think it's super cool! I'm eager to hear how you're preparing and how this journey will potentially affect some of your plans for the school year?
